Christine Barr was named Prairie View Grade School Principal to start the 2022-2023 school year after spending three years as the Assistant Principal at PV. Prior to joining Central 301 she served as a school librarian for 10 years in Geneva, and for five years in Iowa.
A native Iowan, Barr has a BS in Elementary Education from Iowa State University, an MA from University of Northern Iowa in School Library Media Studies, an MA from Aurora University in Educational Administration, and is currently a Doctoral candidate at Aurora University.
Barr, who resides in Geneva, enjoys spending time with her husband Jon, their four grown children Brad, Matt, Kate, and Cari, and their dog Leo.
